Well we made it through another mini-reunion.  Our 2026 get together was not as big as we had hoped for but it seemed that everyone that did come had a great time.  Photos have been added.  Click on the menu to navigate to them if you're on a phone or ipad.  If you're on a computer, it should be available under the "More" tab.

It seems April will be a good time for our big "80th Birthday Reunion".  This April's weather was perfect.  The lake was not full but it was still full enough to have a boat ride for those that wanted to go.  The Friday night dinner at Captain's was good although next time if we do that, I'll ask for multiple tables instead of sitting everyone at one long table.  The smaller settings allow for us to move around from table to table to talk with everyone.  It's hard to do when everyone is sitting at one long table.

Stay tune for a survey coming out in a few weeks to help us pick a date for the big reunion as well as possible venue sites and other stuff.

Well we are all set for dinner at Captain's at Highland Marina for Friday, April 10th at 6:30.  Come early and enjoy the view.  Saturday's lunch will be at 12:30 at Jimmy's lake house.  Come early and fish a little from the dock or just start socializing early.

We do plan to have a late afternoon dinner.  We'll serve leftovers or maybe drill some hot dogs and/or burgers.  Hope to see you there.  You can still sign up online as late as Thursday.  If you change your mind and want to attend after that, just call me or email at jerryonthelake@gmail.com.

Just thought I would put something out here to see if any of you are checking our website for updates.  I think we will plan another gathering in April of next year.  That will be a full year before our planned 80th Birthday Reunion.  I just think that timing will be better and we'll get an idea as to the weather.  I don't have a weekend picked out yet so stay tuned.  I'll put out an email once the committee gets ready to push the event.

Birthday List has been updated.  Don't forget to wish your classmates a Happy Birthday!!  With your directory you should have email addresses and phone numbers.

Well, it''s over.  We have another one "in the books" as they say.  We had great crowds both night

nights.  Charlie Joseph's was a lot of fun and I don't know when I've seen that many people there.  Saturday night was even better with more people.  It turned out to be a little more crowded than we thought it would be.  The place looked much bigger when it was empty and the layout drawing they showed us with the 11 table setup looked comfortable.  Anyway, we'll work on something better for our 80th Birthday Reunion even if it means going back to the Country Club.

The meal was excellent and we had leftovers with provided take home orders for those that wanted it.  Several of you asked about the caterer for the event.  That would be Waddell's Catering out of Woodland, Georgia near Warm Springs.  I highly recommend them if you or your family have any large events.

Some photos have been posted and others will be posted later this week when classmates send them to me.  I just wanted to go ahead and post a big "THANK YOU!!" for supporting this reunion.  I especially want to thank our donors again who made it all possible. Enjoy the photos!!
